The idea that bilingualism is a superpower has been central to our family’s language journey from the very beginning with my son. While he’s always known his two languages are his superpowers (believe me, I’ve reminded him more times than I can count!), it’s now my students who hear this empowering message every day. There’s nothing quite like watching their faces light up when they realize their languages are gifts to celebrate, not obstacles to overcome. That joy and those “aha moments” inspired me to create something that could reach even more children.
